CARL KOLLER AWARD
The Carl Koller Award is the recognition of ESRA to the outstanding lifetime contribution to the field of Regional Anaesthesia and/or Pain Medicine. This award is presented once a year at the ESRA Congress.

RECOGNITION OF EDUCATION IN REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA AWARD
ESRA undertakes to support outstanding innovative activities or strategies in the field of Regional Anaesthesia by annually bestowing the Regional Anaesthesia Award. Such activities and strategies contribute to the conveyance and implementation of scientific evidence into clinical practice of Regional Anaesthesia and postoperative pain therapy and are deemed outstanding.

ALBERT VAN STEENBERGE HONORARY LECTURE
The ESRA Albert Van Steenberge Honorary Lecture was created in 2011 as an ESRA Congress award, after sad loss of one of our Society founders.

ESRA RESEARCH GRANT AWARD
The European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and & Acute Pain Management (ESRA) proudly presents the ESRA Research Grant in order to achieve the distinctive goals of ESRA, such as
- to encourage specialisation of anaesthesiologists and other physicians in regional anaesthesia or pain management
- to promote, sponsor and encourage research in experimental, epidemiological or clinical settings regarding regional anaesthesia or pain management
- to help anaesthesiologists in under-resourced countries to develop their scientific programmes.

ESRA EDUCATIONAL VIDEO COMPETITION
The Best Videos are presented at the ESRA Educational Video Competition during the Annual ESRA Congress.
2018 winner:
1st: Sébastien Bloc with the video: Preoperative Information
2nd: María Teresa Fernandez with the video: Modified BRILMA and Sébastien Bloc with the video: Analgesia technique = Supraclavicular nerve and Axillary nerve blocks
3rd: Archana Areti with the video: Correlation of Sonoanatomy with Actual Anatomy of the Brachial Plexus above the Clavicle

2019 winner to be announced during the ESRA Networking Evening at the 38th Annual ESRA Congress in Bilbao.
ESRA ABSTRACT PRIZES
These monetary prizes are awarded to those judged by the Scientific Committee to be the best submissions of their category. These prizes are chosen based on scores from abstracts submitted and papers presented either in an Oral or E-Poster format. The presenting author must be a trainee or residence.
BEST FREE PAPERS
The Best Free Papers will be presented during the Best Free Papers Session at the Annual ESRA Congress.
2018 winner: Mette Dam
2019 winners will be announced during the ESRA Awards Ceremony at the 38th Annual ESRA Congress. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive prize money after the Congress.
BEST E-POSTER PRESENTATIONS
The abstracts that will be shortlisted as candidates for a Best E-Poster Award will be presented during the E-Poster Discussion sessions taking place Thursday and Friday in the E-Poster Area at the Annual ESRA Congress.

2019 winners will be announced during the ESRA Awards Ceremony at the 38th Annual ESRA Congress. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive prize money after the Congress.
