Networking at ESRA is an essential part of the Congress. Check out below the exciting events we’ve got planned!
Welcome Session & Networking Reception | Wednesday, 11 September 2019, from 17:20
Join us for the official welcome and kick-off of ESRA 2019 at the Opening Session at the Congress Venue’s Auditorium, followed by the Networking Reception held in the Exhibition area. This will be a great opportunity to network and meet up with new and existing colleagues from all around the world.

Networking on the Run | Thursday, 12 September 2019, registration from 6:00
This year’s 5km run will take advantage of the lovely wide paths and views. Networking on the Run is a great way to get your blood flowing before a full day of fascinating sessions and hands on workshops with some of Europe’s best and brightest.
- All runners will be provided with a free “Networking on the Run” T-shirt as well as refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to fastest man, fastest woman, and fastest group.
- Attendance is complimentary; however, pre-registration is required. Registration is available through the congress registration page.
Diplomates & Trainees Reception | Thursday, 12 September 2019, from 18:30
ESRA Diplomates & Trainees are invited to network with each other at the Diplomates & Trainees Reception in the Congress Venue.
- The reception is open for those Congress participants holding ESRA trainees or diplomates certificates.
- Attendance is complimentary; however, pre-registration is required. Registration is available through the congress registration page.
ESRA Networking Evening – A Night at the Museum | Friday, 13 September 2019, from 21:00
The Guggenheim Museum will be open exclusively for the ESRA party’s participants from 20:15.
The annual Networking Evening will be held at the world-famous Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, which represents an architectural landmark of audacious configuration and innovating design, providing a seductive backdrop for the art exhibited in it. Delicious local food & Dancing: for the full Congress experience, this night should not be missed!
- Pre-registration and ticket purchase is mandatory. Registration is available through the congress registration page.
- Ticket includes a unique opportunity to participate an audio-guided tour of the Museum from 20:15.
Farewell Reception | Saturday, 14 September 2019, 12:50
Farewell from Bilbao, a casual gathering with all the Participants, ESRA officers and Council members. Join us in the Foyer area for snacks, drinks and a great way to end ESRA 2019.
